Broad Spectrum of Action | AMORYN

AMORYN Delivers a Broad Spectrum of Neurochemical Action

The factors contributing to intermittent negative mood can be complex, and will differ for every person. AMORYN addresses this fact by providing a broad spectrum of action. By enhancing many mood-related pathways at multiple levels of function, AMORYN may provide more balanced emotional support.

AMORYN contains ingredients believed to act upon all four of the neurotransmitters - serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and GABA - critical to the regulation of mood.

AMORYN provides multiple levels of support - synaptic, metabolic and nutritional - for each of these systems. Levels of many neurotransmitters - serotonin (5HT), dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE), and GABA - are increased through multiple actions. The hyperforin in AMORYN is thought to act as a reuptake inhibitor of 5HT, DA, NE, and GABA. But AMROYN goes further by providing 5-HTP, the direct metabolic precursor to serotonin. And the nutritional co-factors in AMORYN - B6, B12 and Folic Acid - facilitate increased production of 5-HT, DA and NE by enabling the CNS to produce extra SAM-e. Deficiencies of B6, B12 and Folic Acid, as well as low levels of SAM-e, are commonly associated with failure to maintain optimal emotional health.

Thus, activation of serotonergic, dopaminergic, noradrenergic and GABAergic circuits is enhanced at multiple points. AMORYN is believed to increase the amount of neurotransmitter available for release into the synapse and, at the same time, decrease the reuptake of neurotransmitter from the synapse. Few other dietary supplements provide this broad spectrum of action.

This broad spectrum of action allows AMORYN to achieve excellent real-world success rates. For additional information, review the clinical research or learn more about the quality-control procedures followed when manufacturing AMORYN.
